  1. Collection of personal information
    1. Definition of personal information

      Personal information refers to information about an individual that serves to identify him or her. Examples include the individual’s name, contact details (mailing address, telephone number, e-mail address), organization details and date of birth.

    2. Collection phase

      Transition only collects personal information that is necessary and essential to the company.

      Transition collects this information in the following situations:

      • For statistical purposes in order to improve the user experience on the Site;
      • To support recruitment efforts by using the form on the career page;
      • For service or information requests by using the form on the contact page.

      The information Transition may collect includes your first and last name, socio-demographic information (education, country, etc.), information about your organization (name, position held, postal and e-mail address, business number, personal number).

      Cookies may also be placed on your computer when you visit our Site (see section 5).

  2. Use of personal information

    Personal information collected is used only for the purposes for which it was collected and is the sole property of Transition. Under no circumstances does Transition divulge, share or commercialize lists of personal information, and these lists are not shared with third parties, whether or not they are related to Transition’s activities.

    Our sole aim is to provide you with the best possible service and to understand your needs.

    Transition will only use your personal information as long as it is required for the purposes listed above. Furthermore, we undertake to delete or destroy all personal information if you so request by e-mail to the address indicated below (see section 7) or when it becomes obsolete for the purposes specified.

      Transition implements appropriate security measures to protect personal information against loss, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. We educate our staff about privacy practices.

      Personal information is stored on secure computer systems that are inaccessible to unauthorized persons.

    2. Accessing personal information

      Transition limits access to your personal information to in-house staff required to fulfill the identified purposes. Transition ensures that these individuals are authorized to access this information and that access is necessary for the performance of their duties.

      You can ask Transition to delete your personal data. We are committed to carrying out deletions in accordance with your requests within 30 days. We will also inform you of the use made of your personal information if you request this information.

  5. Use of cookies
    1. Definition of cookies

      The information collected automatically when you visit the Site (browser information, pages visited, etc.) does not identify you personally and is not associated with your personal information. Cookies are files installed on your device to record your activity during your browsing session on the Site. The use of cookies enables the server to recognize the browser, language and country preferences, etc. Cookies are also used to measure the Site’s audience and traffic parameters, as well as to provide users with tailored content and a personalized experience.
